Welcome to our repair department. Upon arrival at Kennedy Industries, your pump will be carefully inspected by our experienced mechanics. All critical components are then measured dimensionally to determine repair requirements and potential upgrades. While maintaining exacting tolerances, our high speed CNC turning centers and extensive inventory of raw materials allows us to minimize lead times and enhance our emergency service response.

Dynamic balancing is considered to be an essential component of reliable pump repair. Our computerized equipment provides a level of sensitivity which assures a smooth running and reliable pump. Tolerances of 4W/N are no problem, and our machines can swing up to 10,000 lbs and 9ft diameters.

The last phase of the process is a meticulous final inspection, followed by careful assembly and verification of free rotation. Your pump will be preserved for storage and delivered to your plant by one of our many trucks. Installation and start up service is available upon request. Repair Center capacities:

• Shop is 30,000 sq / ft.
• Raw material: 45 tons.
• Fleet of trucks: 4 pick ups, 2 completely tooled up service trucks (1 with boom crane), a 16ft, 28ft, and 48ft flat bed.
• 2 Vertical presses: Capacities up to 100 tons.
• 1 Horizontal press: 50 ton capacity.
• 3 vertical mills.
• Blast booth:30ft deep. We use a fine glass bead media to prevent damage to critical surfaces
• 2 Cabinet blasters: 1 each for glass bead and steel shot.
• Pressure wash booth: Up to 5000 psi.
• Balance machine: 20 micro inch sensitivity with a capacity of 10,000 lbs, and can swing diameters up to 9ft. Our standard tolerance 4w / N. ISO capable.
• 9 engine lathes: Can swing up to 52 inches diameter.
• 3 CNC turning centers: Sizes up to 36 x 120.
• Horizontal boring mill: 4 inch quill, 60 inch table with tail stock for line boring.
• O.D. grinder: has a capacity of 16ft between centers.
• I.D grinder: Swing diameter up to 16 inches.
• Radial arm drill: Up to 48 inches radius.
• Sunnen rigid hone machine.
• Keyway broacher.
• Stator oven: 27 cu / ft.
• ASME certified welding: GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, Plasma, Rotary positioner.
